Yoga can be intimidating. The most common question and comment I get when first discussing yoga is, “where would I start?” and “I’m not flexible enough”.  Many people become easily discouraged because they don’t feel as though they fit the mold of “yogi” they see on social media.

Well, let me ease your mind. Yoga is not so much about being flexible or being able to do a certain pose. It is about becoming more whole, both physically and mentally. No matter your body type, fitness level or prior experience, yoga is for everyone.

The hesitation to start yoga may stem from having an injury (wrist, shoulder, back, etc.) The great thing about yoga is that it is malleable. An injury does not need to hold you back from yoga. There are thousands of variations, modified techniques and positions that can help to assist, strengthen and even reduce or eliminate injury. I want to help you learn them!
